The Emery track team participated in the state 3A tournament Friday and Saturday at Brigham Young University.
Braiden Ivie had two second place finishes in the 100M and the 200M. He finished slightly behind the runner from Delta who finished his senior season with the two state championships.
Mason Faimalo participated in the 110M hurdles where he finished in sixth.
Jayla Weston finished fourth in the shot put.
Drake Hoffman finished sixth in the shot put.
Ty Funk finished just out of the medals in the 800M. Cale Allred and Keldan Guymon made it to the finals in the javelin, but didn’t place in the medals.
Tiana Jensen participated in the 100M. hurdles and Tayden Nielson participated in the 800M and the high jump. Mackenzie Cox took sixth in the discuss.
Elexis Dalton and Landon Fairbanks received the Academic All-State award.
