Sterling scholar has taught me to mold my foreign language speaking talent into other areas of my life. It has allowed me to progress towards my educational goal of the medical field because the memorization then application is necessary for both. In this program, I’ve also been strengthened in my desire to serve my community. As I get involved with my community more and more, it becomes less and less about me. As I near competition I recognize that it has already rewarded me with lifelong achievements, service lessons, and passion for the Spanish language.
