Green River High Girls & Boys State

Christy Gene Bowerman is the 17 year old daughter of Von and Cindy Bowerman. She has two sisters, one brother, three nephews and one niece. She has been a cheerleader at Green River High school for three years, and was head cheerleader this past year. She was class president for two years, and is now student body historian. She has been a peer helper for three years and has an accumulative grade point average of 3.9.
Christy is also Laurel class president in her ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoys dancing, reading, music and being with her friends and family. After graduation she plans to go on to college, pursue a career in nutrition or accounting, and then hopefully get married and have a family.

Samantha Jean Arnold is the 16 year old daughter of Randy and Kathy Arnold. She has two brothers and three sisters. Samantha is currently a junior at Green River High School. She has participated in cheerleading, executive council, student council, speech and drama at GRHS. Outside of school, Samantha enjoys reading, writing, acting and spending time with family and friends. She, one day, hopes to become a writer.

Nicolas James Brady is 17 years old; he is the son of Patrick and Kathy Brady. Nic is the youngest of four brothers; two of which are serving missions for the LDS church, one is attending school at Brigham Young University and the other is the father of his niece.
Nic is in many extra-curricular activities; basketball, golf, track, drama and forensics. He was in the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Into the Woods, and The King and I. His ambitions in life are to go to college, go on a mission for the LDS church, get married and become an actor or entertainer.

Jacob Dunwoody is 16 years old. He participates in many extracurricular activities at Green River High School such as; basketball, track, cross country, drama and forensics. He is the son of Michael and Theresa Dunwoody. He has three older sisters who used to abuse him and beat him up daily, but in a loving manner. Jake tries to be friendly to everyone he knows and meets.
Jake plans to go to college at Brigham Young University and major in either engineering or business. He plans to go on a mission for the LDS church and also would like to get married and have children someday. Jake is really looking forward to going to Boys State and appreciates the opportunity to attend. He would also like to say that “Japan Rules, oh ya!”

Savannah Black is the 16 year old daughter of Jeff and Conae Black. Savannah is the youngest of five; Savannah states “I have survived three brothers and one sister. The love of my life is my dog, Carter.” She enjoys playing Final Fantasy games and spending time with her family and friends. She stays busy with extracurricular activities and academic studies.
Savannah is involved in cheerleading, drama and solo and ensemble. She gets good grades and is an honor roll student. Savannah is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests are classical rock music, forensics and of course boys. Her plans for the future are to go to college and pursue a career in forensics and have a family.
