GALLERY: Emery Lady Spartan golfers on their first day of state tournament in Richfield

The Lady Spartans all hit from hole number one at the Cove View golf course in Richfield. This began play at the 3A state tournament.
Last week the Lady Spartans finished second in their region. They played a practice round at the golf course the day before the state tourney.
If the Lady Spartans finish in the top 60 percent of the golfers today they will advance to the second round which is tomorrow at Cove View.
As individuals, the top 10 finalists will receive a medal. For the teams, the top two teams will receive trophies.
Carbon and Grand golfers are also at the tournament.
