Burnetta Lindquist
HELPER-Burnetta Eloise Jorgensen Lindquist, age 75, passed away Aug. 30, 2004, in Provo. She was born Aug. 20, 1929 in Emery to Hans and Oline (Christensen) Jorgensen. She married Boyd Arlon Lindquist.
A member of the LDS church, she loved the outdoors and spent many hours camping, riding horses and working in her garden. An animal lover, she loved to dance, cook and watch old movies.
Burnetta is survived by her children, Shaunna Lee (Michael) Nash of South Carolina, Sheryl B. (Ripley) Lindquist, and Boyd Ernest (Gayla) Lindquist, both of California; grandchildren Kris Lindquist, Debra Boy, and Molly Burnetta Lindquist, all of California; and a great-grandchild on the way. Also survived by a sister, Maxine Price of Wellington, and a brother Leonard Jorgensen of Montana. Preceded in death by her husband; sisters Edita, Elizabeth, Lillie, and Alta; and brothers, Julius, Hugh, Leland, and Shirley.
Services were held Fri. Sept. 3 at Noon at the Spring Glen LDS Chapel, 2000 West 4000 North. Friends called on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price. Burial in the Emery Cemetery.
Lois Critchlow
PRICE – Lois Francine Brown Critchlow, age 81, died Sept. 1, 2004 at her home in Price.
Born Oct. 8, 1922 in Fruita, Colo. to Thomas Sherman and Estelle Cameron Brown. Married Jay Lee Critchlow May 19, 1946 in Price. He died Dec. 11, 1985.
During World War II she worked as a Rosie the Riveter building airplanes. Graduated from Green River High School and attended business college for one year. Member of the New Life Ministries for 20 years. She was involved in the Alanon program for 28 years. She worked for Osco Drug and Payless Drug doing the greeting card section. Lois loved to cook for everyone including family, hay crews or anyone that came into her kitchen. She spent many hours working on the farm alongside her husband and could drive anything including the stock truck. She loved caring for her animals and her grandchildren and they will have many fond memories gathered around her table.
She was not only the best mom in the world, she was also the best mother-in-law. Until we meet at Jesus’ feet your family will be missing you. God speed mom.
Survived by three sons and two daughters, Paul Critchlow, Price; Skip (Sue) Critchlow, Wellington; Francine “Franny” (Scott) Henrie; Buff (Lisa) Critchlow; Jaylene (Nick) Mahleres, all of Price; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; special caregivers, Linda Muth, Debbie Noone, Gena Beacco, Darlene Pennington, Debbie Madrigal, Jeana Cox, Chass Henrie, Josh Critchlow, Nick Critchlow and Kit Critchlow. Preceded in death by parents; husband; and granddaughter, Connie Elaine Critchlow.
Funeral service Sat., Sept. 4, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.
Kenneth A. Jorgensen
FERRON-Kenneth Jorgensen passed away on Aug. 21, 2004 in Fruita, Colo. Ken was born Feb. 5, 1958, in Price, to Joseph and Shirley Jorgensen.
We will remember his loving happy nature; his love and hope for his girls; his joy in fishing; his efforts to succeed; his thoughtfulness; the fun and games: he remains the Bwana; the special bond with his nieces; his faithfulness and commitment to Jesus. We will remember, and be glad.
We commend his sweet spirit to our loving Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
He is survived by his mother Shirley; brothers Les (Colleen); Mike (Cheryl); Scott; sister Dianne (Jim) Smart; daughters Jessica and Ashley.
Preceded in death by father Joseph and brother David.
Graveside services, to be attended at Ferron Cemetery on Sept. 7 at 10 a.m.
