The Emery County Community rallied around one of their families on Friday night. Young Eli Winter recently underwent cancer surgery. He is the son of Troy and Kresta Winter. The fundraiser for the Winter family was sponsored by the Emery County Search and Rescue.
Troy Winter is a member of the search and rescue.
Area businesses donated prizes for the raffle, live auction and silent auction. BKs Stop and Shop donated the spaghetti dinner.
Prizes included several guns, enclosed trailer, fishing trip to Alaska, riding lawn mower, hunting trips and much more.
Troy and Kresta Winter thanked the Emery County community for their love and support during this difficult time. Troy said Eli recently underwent testing and the doctors have proclaimed him to be cancer free.
