Scott Kinder

HUNTINGTON-James Scott Kinder, age 60, passed away Jan. 16, 2018 in Price after a courageous seven year battle with cancer.
He was born March 18, 1957 in Price, Utah to Archie Gale and LaRae McCandless Kinder. On April 29, 1978, Scott married Janet Collard in the Manti Temple.
Scott is survived by his wife, Janet C. Kinder, daughter, Kamie (Brandon) Conover, mother, LaRae M. Kinder, all of Huntington; two sisters and one brother, Cynthia Smith, Huntington, Trish (Jim) Sweet, Lake Forest, Calif., David (Vickie) Kinder, Lawrence; father-in-law, Clifford D. Collard, Huntington, sister-in-law, JoLene (Gary) Stevens, Ferron; brothers-in-law, Dean (Christy) Collard, Huntington, Chris (Marilyn) Collard, Rock Springs, Wyo.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, A.G. Kinder; and his sister, RaeLynn Kinder.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, 11 a.m., Huntington Stake Center (240 North Main Street) in Huntington. Family will receive friends at the church Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery.
