News from Green River

Green River celebrated the recent holiday season with a light parade and a town party. The parade started at the park and featured several floats and vehicles which were all aglow. The famous wooden watermelon was also fitted with lights and made its way down Main Street.
Everyone gathered at the fire station after the event for a program and some doughnuts and hot chocolate.
Santa was in the parade. The Green River High Cheerleaders also performed along the parade route.
