The Canyon View Lady Cougars and the San Rafael Lady Bulldogs basketball teams ended their season at the Castle Valley Athletic Association tournament at Mont Harmon on Feb. 19. The Lady Cougars came away with the win in a hard fought game, 44-16.
The Cougars were off to a slow start and at the end of the first quarter the Bulldogs were up by one point 4-5. After playing well into the second quarter the Cougars managed to jump ahead by six points and hold the Bulldogs at five points for most of the quarter.
Canyon View led the Bulldogs 20-8 at halftime. The scoring of Meagan Pearson and Camille Fehlberg from seemingly anywhere on the court proved too much for the Bulldogs. This is a repeat championship for the Cougars who also won last year
