Music by Johnny V and Trouble Train
Trouble Train: a band of incredible talent hidden in the heart of Utah. Trouble Train members have played all over the Salt Lake Valley, and the United States meeting people, making them smile, and bringing an unbelievable musical experience to listeners everywhere. It has not gone unnoticed. These guys play jazz standards to rock, country, blues and contemporary pop music. It’s not unusual to hear a Santana piece, a Michael Jackson or Michael Buble song followed by a fiery Brad Paisley or Steely Dan hit. Need an Eagles tribute band or a country or classic rock band? Done. The instrumentation and talent delivers a wide array of color and genre. You’ll hear mandolin, harmonica, banjo, fiddle mixed with dazzling piano/keyboard skills and tantalizing guitar. Appreciate the interplay between bass, drums and percussionist while complex 3-5 part harmonies animate songs such as in the Eagles “Seven Bridges Road” and falsettos to soar with the Beach Boys. Whatever your taste of music, these guys can satisfy.

Utah’s Mounted Thunder
Cowboy Mounted Shooting Club
10 am – 5 pm
Spectators are free. Cowboy mounted shooting is one of the nation’s fastest growing equestrian sports. Cowboy Mounted Shooters compete in this fast action, timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition. Courses are set in a variety of patterns. The first five targets will vary with stage and often requires the horse and rider to rate speed, turn, change leads and accelerate. The second five targets is usually straight with targets set at 36 foot intervals, called the “run down.” Both horse handling ability and raw speed are showcased.
Mounted Shooting requires skill in both horsemanship and shooting that is measured in the form of competitive events. Come see the Mounted Thunder.
