Brody Killpack
FERRON-Parke Brody Killpack, the loving son of Parke and Toni Killpack, left his earthly existence back to the loving arms of his kind and gracious Father in Heaven on Oct. 13, 2004 in Salt Lake City. Brody was born Dec. 31, 1976, two hours shy of the new year.
While on this earth he enjoyed everything in life. He loved sports, especially baseball, golf and basketball. Brody will always be remembered for his sense of humor and bright personality. He always had a smile on his face and an infectious laugh. If anyone needed anything he would always be there. Brody loved spending precious moments with his soul mate and companion Natille Williams. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Doedoe” to his nieces and nephews.
Brody is survived by his parents, Parke and Toni Killpack of Ferron, fiance Natille (and her parents Kurt and Karon) Williams of Castle Dale, sisters: Trinidi (Jerry) Price, Kandi (Jerry) Hess and Destri Kilpack, brother Brawny (Marissa) Killpack and one son. Also survived by grandparents Jim and Kath Ward and Dwight and Maude Killpack, and nieces and nephews: Jeridi, Taijah, Taleigh, Bryton, Baylee, Barrick, Shaidyn and Kavery, and his many friends.
Funeral services were held on Mon. Oct. 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the Ferron LDS Chapel on State Street. A viewing was held the evening before at Fausett Mortuary and one hour prior at the church. Burial was in the Ferron Cemetery.
Ruby Leffler
HUNTINGTON-Ruby Leffler, age 69, passed away Oct. 13, 2004, from complications due to cancer, at her home in Huntington. She was born Sept. 19, 1935, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Rupert Howard and Eva Lucille Lish Curzon. She married Ellis Dale Leffler, Nov. 19, 1952, in Pocatello. Sealed in the Manti Temple June 25, 2004.
Ruby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, camping with family, crocheting, church, traveling, and especially her family.
Ruby is survived by her husband Ellis of Huntington, mother Eva Curzon, Price, children, Howard Leffler, North Idaho, Christine Cox, St. George, Johnny Leffler, Huntington, Kathy McNeel, Elmo, Danny Leffler, Huntington, Randy Leffler, Ogden, 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sister, Everett Curzon, Pocatello, David Curzon, Oregon, Leland Curzon, Kaysville and Sylvia Hess, Grantsville. Preceded in death by her father Robert Howard Curzon, grandson Daniel Bud Leffler, sisters Madeline Whitaker and Erma Herzinger.
Funeral services were held Sat. Oct. 16, 2004 at noon in the Huntington 1st/5th Ward LDS Chapel. A viewing was held from 10-11:45 a.m. Burial was in the Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
