Emery County’s own Spencer Fehlberg is on his way to the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Oregon.
He has qualified in the steeplechase.
Last week Fehlberg fielded one of the fastest times in Utah State University history.
The men’s 3000 meter semifinal steeplechase is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:02 p.m. The finals are scheduled for Friday at 5:54 p.m. Fehlberg is the son of Reed and Carma Fehlberg of Huntington.
The Fehlbergs will be traveling to Oregon to watch as Spencer competes in the national championship.
