Ruth Pulli O’Neil Witten


PRICE-Ruth Pulli O’Neil Witten, lived a long, good life and was received into heaven on Sept. 30, 2004.
Born June 26, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minn. to Peter and Louise May Ricci Pulli and in 1943 she moved to Price.
On March 9, 1946, Ruth married Grant O’Neil in Price; he passed away on Oct. 17, 1971. Ruth married Kenneth Witten on Dec. 16, 2000 at the Price United Methodist Church.
Ruth worked for many years at First Interstate Bank and she retired in 1987. In 1951, she joined the Price United Methodist Church. She was a 52 year member of Naomi Chapter #13, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed belonging to the Price Ladies of Elks, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Daughters of the Nile.
Ruth loved sewing, knitting and quilting for her family and friends. She loved working in her yard and caring for her beautiful garden. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her husband, Kenneth Witten, Price; children, Peggy (Paul) Wilmonen, Kenilworth; George Patrick (Patti) O’Neil, Price; Marilyn (Tony) Ault, Hemet, Calif.; Julie (Scott) Richardson, Westin, Flo.; sisters, Evelyn Gulickson, Hettinger, ND; Marion (Joe) Matson, Salt Lake City; Lorraine Bjornlie, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; brothers, Daniel (Sharon) Pulli, Huntington; James (Bonnie) Pulli, Price; Robert (Carol) Pulli, Bellview, Wash.; grandchildren, Tiffany O’Neil, Tyson O’Neil, Wendy (Dean Warren, Justin Wilmonen, Michael (Sara)Ault, Andy and Ryan Richardson; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grant O’Neil and sister Bernice Brown.
Funeral services were held Mon., Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Price United Methodist Church. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ruth’s name to the Huntsman Cancer Institute or the Shriner’s Childrens Hospital.

Floyd Richard Behunin


Floyd Richard Behunin, age 84, died Sept. 28, 2004 in Price. He was born Feb. 5, 1920 in Ferron to David H. and Cornelia Larsen Behunin. He worked as a farmer and rancher in Ferron all his life. He had a beautiful orchard and also raised cattle.
He is survived by his brother Darel and his wife Anice; nieces and nephews, Vickie, Donna, Norman, Nolan, Nina Jo, Darel Alece, Mila and David Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Wendell, Elbert and Lloyd.
Graveside services were held Thurs. Sept. 30, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Ferron City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.

Rose Mary Sandoval


PRICE-Maria De Rosario “Rose” Gonzales Sandoval, age 67, passed away Oct. 3, 2004 after a long illness.
Born March 31, 1937 in Chandler, Colo. to Pedro and Maria De La Cruz Gonzales. She married Perry Sandoval, March 3, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Member of the Catholic Church. She loved reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center and working on the newsletter. Mom was the sweetest, kindest, most loving woman with a big heart. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Survived by her husband, Perry Sandoval, six children, Perry Rick (Ruby) Sandoval, Darla Ann Basso, all of Price; Barbara (Jim) Wills, Limon, Colo.; Karen Sandoval, ReNae (Thayne) Oviatt, both of Grand Junction, Colo.;Brenda Sandoval Salazar, Price; brothers and sisters, Mary G. Lopez, Price; Carlos Gonzales, Sandy; Lawrence Gonzales, West Valley; Elvera Garcia, Gallup, NM; Antonio Gonzales, Draper; John R. Gonzales, West Valley; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass, Wed., Oct. 6 at 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Tuesday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
