Huntsman Motors in Huntington is expanding their inventory of cars. In order to make room for more vehicles, the old building on the site was demolished by Troy Huntsman, owner of the business. A portable office has been added to the location and future plans include the construction of a new building.
The building that came down has been a long time fixture along Huntington Main Street. The building was a former gas station and automotive repair business and a restaurant in recent years. The property was then sold to Huntsman Motors.

The Ungermans constructed the building originally and then it was purchased by Bevan Wilson in the 1960s. It was sold to Jethro and Larae Majors and then Wilsons purchased the building back.
Through the years as a gas station in the 70s and 80s, it was run by Herman Pollaehne. Mick and Janet Greenan operated a restaurant called Mick’s Place in the location. Dale Wilson ran a gas station there and Larae Majors operated the Canyon Rim Cafe for many years at the location. Huntsman Motors leased the property for a few years and then purchased the property from Wilsons to make the improvements to the automotive sales business.
