Mary Pringle Sherman
Mary Pringle was born Sept. 8, 1907 in Cleveland to Joseph and Maria Pringle. She has a twin sister, Mae, who lives in Salt Lake City. Her Grandmother Westwood helped to raise the twin girls along with Aunt Sarah Jensen. Mary attended school in Cleveland and Huntington.
She met her husband, Glain Sherman, who was the brother of a friend. They were married April 25, 1925. Glain passed away in 1989. The couple had 11 children who are all still alive.
Mary likes to crochet hot pads, and work in the garden. She has been a good wife and mother. Her home is on the lot where Glain was born in Huntington.
Following a surgery, she spent some recovery time in the rest home. Her children came to see her everyday and the staff at the rest home said they had never seen children who were so faithful to visit their parent.
