Food Vendors Wanted
Vendors wanted for the Emery County Fair to be held Aug. 3-5. Looking for exclusive food concession vendors. Each vendor may apply to have two exclusive entree food items for their booth. That vendor will be the sole supplier of those two food items. Drinks, candy, etc. will be available to all vendors. Back Country Horsemen

Little League Wrestling Sign-ups
Sign-ups for Little League wrestling for Castle Dale, Orangeville, Ferron and Emery will be held Feb. 22 from 4-6 p.m. at the Spartan Center. Cost will be $25 per wrestler. Practices will begin the following week.

Huntington Dog Licenses
The Huntington City 2006 dog licenses are now due. Proof of current rabies vaccination must be presented before license can be issued. Deadline for dog licenses is March 1. Dog licenses may be purchased at the Huntington City Hall or at the rabies clinics which will be held on Feb. 25, 9 a.m.-noon, Dr. Jensen.
Veterans of Foreign Wars
A field service officer from the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be at the Price Workforce Service Center on March 2 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. This is a free service to assist veterans, widows and dependents in understanding and applying for rightful VA benefits.
Ferron Stake Merit Badge Pow Wow
Ferron Stake will hold a merit badge pow wow on March 16, 23, and 30 at 6 p.m. at the church on the hill. Contact your scout leader for applications. Entries must be in to Valarie Winn by March 7. For more information call Valarie at 384-2592.
American Cancer Society Daffodil Days
The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days will end March 1. Order yours by calling Cathy Anderson at 286-2399, Dana Olson at 381-5640, or Patsy Stoddard at 381-2431. The price is $10 per bunch or $25 for three bunches. The delivery date is March 20.
Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp
Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star summer basketball camp. The camp is by invitation only. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American Team. For a free brochure call 704-373-0873.

Orangeville Animal Licenses
Orangeville Animal Licenses for 2006 are due by Feb. 28. License fees are $8 for neutered/spayed animals and $25 for un-altered animals.
