The volleyball team went to the state tournament on Friday and Saturday at Utah Valley State College and competed against some tough teams to finish 4th in the state. Emery defeated Hurricane and Judge Memorial on Friday and lost to Carbon and Delta on Saturday. Emery’s team consists of Mandi Weihing, Tina Ward, Allison Wells, Amber Gardner, Ashley Conover, Jennifer Nielson, Shandie Huntington, Stacie Giles, Kelsie Anderson, Valery Bell, Holli Myerhoff, Audrey Gordon, Nicole Sanders, Candace Ungerman, Cheryl Grant, Karlee DeCol, Jeanna Morash, Jessica Christensen, Michelle Johansen, Jerica Jensen, Cortni Jensen, Raquel Cox and McKenzie Sitterud. Nancy Martinez is the coach and Lisa Winn is assistant coach.
