Storyteller at Historical Meeting
The Emery County Historical Society general meeting is scheduled for Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Museum of the San Rafael. Come early and enjoy the current exhibit. Then settle in to enjoy the guest speaker, Ron Taylor, an artist, photographer, and storyteller of Castle Dale, along with other entertainment for this historic installation of new officers meeting. The Campdale Daughters of the Utah Pioneers will meet March 11, 1 p.m., at the Castle Dale Senior Citizen’s Center.
King Lear at CEU

The Emery County Domestic Violence Coalition is promoting awareness and education by donating two new books to help with this problem in our community. College Ward Reunion

The Emery County Chamber of Commerce monthly business luncheon meeting will be held on Feb. 27, at Noon at the Castle Dale Senior Citizen Center. RDT Shake Your Booty
On March 2, the Repertory Dance Theatre will hold an open house to kick off the spring session with “Best Place to Shake Your Booty” to try all of the schools classes starting at 8 a.m. featuring Prime Movement, Pilates, Modern Technique, African-Based, Hip-Hop Jazz, Ballroom, and Flamenco. Dog License Deadline
Cleveland residents are required to license their dogs by Feb. 28. All dogs must have proof of current rabies shots to be licensed. Persons failing to do so are subject to a $15 fine in addition to regular fees. This late fee will be enforced as of March 1.
Huntington Dog Licenses
Huntington 2002 dog licenses are now due; deadline March 1. Proof of current rabies vaccination must be presented before license can be issued.

Neighborhood Crime Watch Meeting
On March 6, at 6 p.m. there will be a meeting at the Huntington Sub-Station, next to Hometown Market. Programs, Youth Crime Watch America, and What’s Happening in the Community. Multicultural Performance
Multicultural Services of Utah will present a one night, ninety minute performance on March 6, at 7 p.m. at the Emery High Auditorium. Tickets are affordable for individuals and families.
