On Sept. 26, we were visiting Emery County for the Utah School Food Service Association. After experiencing transmission problems with our car we found a business that was closed but had not yet locked their doors. The business was Castle Service in Huntington.
Tifnie Hansen and brothers Kevin and Brandin Hurdsman were just getting ready to close up and go home. Upon hearing our problems, they decided to help us. Tifnie let us drive her personal truck while she and her brothers followed in the tow truck with our car in tow. The trio escorted us and the car safely to our homes in Ogden and then returned to their homes in Emery County. We know they didn’t get home until 4 a.m.
What a day, what great customer service. It’s comforting to know that there are still businesses who put the customer first, even after closing. The people of Emery County should know that their businesses care.
