The Lady Spartans from Emery High improved to 3-0 with two victories in the Spartan Center last weekend.
They defeated Ben Lomond 47-33 Friday night. The Spartan defense held Ben Lomond to two points in the third quarter and eleven point in the second half.
Emery was lead by Amber Gardner with 14 points and Jennifer Nielson with 13.
Emery followed up with a 49-43 victory over Union Saturday night. Despite only four first quarter points, they were within four at halftime and used a big fourth quarter to nab the victory. Jennifer Nielson led the scoring with 17 points. Ashley Hansen and Gardner were also in double figures for Emery.
