Zachary Wayne Swasey


KeriAnne Powell and Zachary Wayne Swasey will be married Dec. 19 in the Manti Temple. They are both graduates of Emery High. Zachary served in the Washington D. C. South Mission and is currently enrolled at Utah Valley State College. KeriAnne graduated from the College of Eastern Utah and is currently completing her degree in elementary education at Southern Utah University. The couple will make their home in Cedar City.
KeriAnne is the daughter of Kerry and Karla Powell of Huntington and Zachary is the son of Merrill and Sandra Swasey of Castle Dale. Grandparents of the bride are Merlin and Jean Christiansen, and Roma and the late Jay Powell. Grandparents of the groom are Wayne and Elaine Wilberg, and Sherman and the late Birdie Swasey.
A reception will be held in their honor Dec. 20 from 6-8 p.m. in the Huntington Stake Center, 200 North Main.

Kerry and Gayle Larsen of Castle Dale announce the marriage of their daughter, Leslie Anne to Quinn Mortensen, son of Jay and Marilyn Mortensen of Springville. The couple have chosen Dec. 19 to be married in the Manti LDS Temple.
A reception to honor the couple will be held Dec. 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the Third Ward Chapel, 165 West 800 North in Castle Dale. An open house will also be held Dec. 28 from 7-9 p.m. in the Fourth Ward Chapel, 355 East Center Street in Springville.
The couple will make their home in Cedar City where both are full-time students at Southern Utah University.
