The Emery Spartan wrestlers competed in the region 3-A wrestling tournament on Feb. 7 at Carbon High.
Two wrestlers from Emery High qualified to go to the state tournament.
The state tournament was held on Feb. 13-14 at Utah Valley State College in Orem.
Steven Swasey and Kendall Bird wrestled at the state finals.
Swasey won one match and lost one, and Bird lost two close matches.
