Nicholas K. Oveson


Paul and Sandra Oveson of Cleveland announce the marriage of their son Nicholas K. Oveson to Danielle Bradfield, daughter of Darwin Scott and Jeanette Bradfield of Riverton.
Their marriage will take place on May 16 in the Manti Temple.
A reception to celebrate will be held that evening in the Huntington Stake Center from 6-8 p.m. There will also be a reception in Riverton on May 17.
Nicholas is a graduate of Emery High. His grandparents are Keith and Bonnie Rasmussen of Orangeville and Ellis and RaLene Oveson of Cleveland.
Danielle is a graduate of Riverton High. Her grandparents are Randall D. and Shirley Bradfield of Sandy and Donald W. and Geraldine Yates of Sandy.
They will live in Cedar City where they will continue their education at Southern Utah University.

Julie and Corey have chosen May 17 to be married in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Castle Dale Third Ward LDS church, 165 West 800 North.
Parents of the bride are Stephen and Jackie DeFriez. Parents of the groom are Marvin and Ardyth Bell.

Eldon and Jana Lee Woods of Duchesne announce the marriage of their daughter, RyLee Diane Woods, to Chad Michael Rasmussen, the son of Doug and Kaye Rasmussen.
The couple will be married May 16 in the Manti LDS Temple.
A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Duchesne First and Third ward building. An open house will be held May 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the Old Institute in Price.
RyLee is a graduate of the College of Eastern Utah. Chad is a graduate of Carbon High School. They both plan on continuing their education at Provo College.

Amanda K. Baker and J. Brandon Pratt have chosen May 17 to be married. The couple will be married at the Desert Edge Christian Chapel, 500 South Main in Huntington, at 1 p.m.
A reception will be held in their honor for all family and friends following the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Robert L. Baker of Orangeville and Sharon and Kim Earl of Huntington. Parents of the groom are Kathy Pratt of Cleveland and Mark Pratt of Salt Lake City.

Wayne Bell, son of Randy and LeAnn Bell married Karen Whittle, daughter of Deon and Melanie Whittle on May 10 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.
A reception was held in their honor in Riverton. An open house will be given for them on May 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Huntington First/Fifth Chapel, 115 South 400 East.
They will make their home in Midvale.

Roger and Lana Swasey of Price, announce the marriage of their daughter Shelly Swasey to Jonathan Badger, son of Leon and Shari Badger of Logan. The couple will be married May 15 in the Manti LDS Temple.
A reception will be held that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Price LDS Institute, 380 East 400 North. An open house will be held from 6-8 p.m. May 16 at the Utah State University Alumni House, 7500 Old Main Hill, Logan.
Shelly graduated from Carbon High School and the College of Eastern Utah with an associates degree in science. She also graduated from USU with a bachelors degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations.
Jonathan graduated from Logan High School, then served a LDS mission in Bordeaux, France. He recently graduated from USU with a bachelors degree in business administration and a minor in French.

Janis Anderson

Dallas and Janet Anderson announce the marriage of their daughter Janis to Cole Pitchforth, son of Shane and Laurie Pitchforth on May 16 in the St. George Temple.
Janis is a graduate of Delta High School, and has recently graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in registered nursing. Cole is a graduate of Emery High and has fulfilled a mission to Russia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cole has also received an associates degree from Snow College where he also played basketball.
They will be honored with an open house May 17 from 7-9 p.m. at the Ferron Stake Center, 55 south 400 West. The couple will be living in Cedar City where they are both working and will continue their education.

Richard and Linda Thayn announce the marriage of their daughter BreAna Nichol to Zeph Matthew, son of Ernie and Nancy Tucker. The couple will be married May 17.
A reception will be held in their honor that evening at the Elks Lodge, 23 East 100 North, Price, from 6-8 p.m. Dancing will follow.

Miranda Dawn Sorensen and Darren R. Fillmore announce their marriage on May 17. A reception for family and friends will follow from 6-8 p.m. at the Springville Fourth Ward LDS Chapel, 355 East Center Street.
Miranda is the daughter of Todd and Elaine Olsen of Springville and Jonathan and Cheryl Sorensen of Roosevelt. She is a graduate of Union High and the College of Eastern Utah’s nursing program.
Darren is the son of Rosann Fillmore of Orangeville and Roy Fillmore of Salt Lake City. He is a graduate of Emery High and the College of Eastern Utah. He served a LDS mission to Guayaquil, Ecuador. He is currently studying biological engineering at Utah State University.
The couple will make their first home in Logan.

Lane and Adele Justice of Ferron announce the marriage of their daughter, Kerstine Jo to Kory Kendall Larsen, son of Kent and Laurie Larsen also of Ferron. The couple will be married May 16 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7-9 p.m. in the Ferron Stake Center.
Kerstine and Kory are both graduates of Emery High School. Kerstine attended the College of Eastern Utah and is currently employed in Price. Kory served a LDS mission to Raleigh, North Carolina and plans to attend college in the fall.
Kerstine in the granddaughter of Bert and Thelma Jensen of Ferron, Orson and Karren Justice of Huntington and the great-granddaughter of Viola Palmer and Esther Justice of Huntington. Kory is the grandson of DeLyle and Loretta Larsen of Cleveland and Mervin and Ruth Duncan of Ferron.
