Elder Sackett
Elder Shawn C. Sackett will return to the local area after serving in the SanFernando California Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is the son of Debbie and Cardell Sackett of Gordon Creek.
Elder Sackett will speak at the Gordon Creek LDS ward sacrament meeting June 29 at 11:30 a.m. The chapel is located in the Westwood subdivision at 175 North 1280 West, Price.
Elder Martinez
Elder Brady Martinez has been called to serve in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Martinez is the son of Robert and Pam Martinez. His grandparents are Robert and Marge Brady and Sally Martinez.
Elder Martinez will speak June 29 at 11 a.m. at the Price 11th LDS ward. An open house will be held June 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. at his home. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on July 9.
Elder Barnett
Elder Travis George Barnett has accepted a call to serve in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Barnett is the son of Bowdi and Julie Barnett of Castle Dale and the grandson of Cloyd and Bonnie George of Tooele and Darrell and Clela Barnett of Payson.
Elder Barnett will speak in sacrament meeting at Castle Dale Third Ward, 800 North Chapel on June 29 at 9 a.m. He will report to the Missionary Training Center on July 2.=
Elder Taylor
Elder Chad A. Taylor, son of Brent and Renee Taylor has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has accepted his call to the Illinois Chicago Mission.
Elder Taylor will be speaking in the Ferron Creek Ward on June 29 at 9 a.m.
Elder Powell
Elder Jacob Ammon Powell has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Madagascar Antananarivo Mission.
Elder Powell will be speaking in the Cleveland 2nd Ward sacrament meeting on June 29 at 11 a.m. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on July 2.
Elder Powell is the son of Corey and Myrna Powell of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Bryce and Joyce Brasher, Clark and Claudette Powell, and Della Brasher Alger, all of Huntington. Also, Harry Easterbrook of Cleveland.
Elder Taylor
Elder Shawn A. Taylor, son of Brent and Renee Taylor has returned from serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Quezon City Philippines Mission.
Elder Taylor will be speaking in the Ferron Creek Ward at 9 a.m. on June 29. Elder Taylor appreciates the prayers while he was gone.
Elder Fielder
Elder Jeffrie Lee Fielder has accepted a call to serve in the Canada Calgary Mission. He will be speaking in the Orangeville Second Ward sacrament meeting on June 29 at 11 a.m.
Elder Fielder is the son of Jim and Dixie Fielder of Orangeville. His grandparents are Virginia and Horace Petty of Orangeville and the late LeGrand Huntington and Richard and Zora Fielder of Castle Dale. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on July 2.
