Construction Update

Construction crews will begin a UDOT project to rotomill and resurface SR-10 as it passes through the cities of Huntington, Castle Dale and Ferron beginning Sept. 2.
Huntington
Construction crews will lower manholes along Main Street in preparation for rotomill operations on Sept. 2-3. During this portion of the project traffic control personnel will direct traffic around work zones, with two-lanes of traffic maintained.
Sept. 8-10 � The rotomill portion of the project will be underway in Huntington, with the project commencing on the south end of town and extending northward. The rotomill project will be accomplished three city blocks at a time, with no parking on Main Street where the rotomilling is taking place. Side streets will be closed to access to Main Street during rotomilling, with traffic diverted out of the construction area.
Sept. 15-17 � Asphalt paving of Main Street. There will be no parking on Main Street during this portion of the project. Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct traffic around the construction zone with two lanes of traffic maintained.
Ferron
Sept. 4-5 � Construction crews will lower manholes in preparation for rotomill operations.
Sept. 11-12 � The rotomill portion of the project will move to Ferron, being accomplished three city blocks at a time. Side street access will be closed to through traffic in the construction zone. Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct traffic with two lanes of traffic maintained.
Sept. 23-24-25 � Asphalt paving. Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct traffic around the construction zone with two lanes of traffic maintained.
Castle Dale

Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct traffic with two lanes of traffic maintained
Sept. 18-19-22 � Asphalt paving. Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct traffic around the construction zone with two lanes of traffic maintained.
Traffic Control personnel will be on hand at construction points to facilitate the flow of traffic. Motorists are urged to be cautious and watch for flagging personnel.
Trucks will be entering and leaving the highway in different areas of the project. Construction operations will be performed day shift only. Maintenance operations will be performed throughout the night.
Motorists are urged to drive safely and be prepared to stop.
