Ben Fuller


CASTLE DALE-Benjamin John Fuller, 22 passed away Oct. 14, 2003 in Tooele County. He was born March 2, 1981 in Price to Dennis Alfred and Elizabeth Leigh Jorgensen Fuller.
Ben was raised in Castle Dale and graduated from Emery High School in 1999. He enjoyed music, sports including fishing and basketball, snow boarding, fixing and inventing things. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and cousins. He was a member of the LDS Church, an eagle scout and received his Duty to God award.
Ben is survived by his parents Dennis and Liz Fuller, sister Leslie Anne Fuller, grandfather John L. Jorgensen, all of Castle Dale. He is also survived by his grandparents Dennis and Zelda Fuller of North Salt Lake and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Yvonne T. Jorgensen.
Funeral services were held Oct. 18 at the Castle Dale Stake Center. Interment in the Castle Dale Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.

Richard Pessetto


HELPER-Richard Mike Pessetto, age 76, passed away Oct. 16, 2003 in Price.
Born Oct. 31, 1926 in Price to Richard Mike and Georgia Miller Pessetto.
Lifelong resident of Carbon County. Served US Navy during World War II. Retired member of the United MIne Workers of America Deer Creek Local #1769. Richard loved animals and he was a former member of the Carbon County Sheriff’s Posse.
Survived by his son, Mike Pessetto, Price; daughters Connie (Kirt) Marsing, Price; Michelle Curtis, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Gloria Gibney, Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Clifford (June) Pessetto, Helper; Morris (Margie) Pessetto, Richfield; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, sons, Anthony and Wayne Pessetto, and sister Barbara Ross.
Graveside service will be Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. at Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, one hour prior to service.

Alfred Kilgore


SPRING GLEN-Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Alfred Kilgore, age 80, passed away Oct. 16, 2003 in Price.
Born May 2, 1923 in Tracy City, Tenn. to Charlie Wesley and Rhoda Cope Kilgore. Married Mary Hampton, May 15, 1943 in Price.
Served US Navy during World War II in the Aleutian Islands aboard the USS Trenton. Alfred was a work-a-holic and a dedicated member of the United Mine Workers of America, Kaiser Steel Local #9958 where he worked for 33 years. Member of the VFW Miner’s Post #2379 and the Slovenian Home in Spring Glen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and wintering in Quartzsite, Ariz. Alfred loved spending time with his family and will be missed greatly.
Survived by his wife, Mary Kilgore, Spring Glen; two daughters and two sons, Trudy Lee, Price; Susan (Dennis) Norman, Salt Lake City; Wesley (Lyn) Kilgore, Magna; Bob Kilgore, West Jordan; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; special friend, Robert Chubbuck, Spring Glen; and best buddies, “Poncho” and “Trixie.”
Preceded in death by parents, two sisters and one brother.
Funeral service was held Oct. 20 at the Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Max Christman


PRICE-Max Christman, age 81, passed away Oct. 13, 2003 in Price, after a short battle with cancer. Born June 29. 1922 in Clawson to Joseph Franc and Laura Blackburn Christman. Married Alma Irene Lovins, March 6, 1944 in Salt Lake City, she died Feb. 13, 1985. Married Margaret Robertson, Feb. 27, 1988 in Price.
Max served in the US Navy during World War II from 1940-48. Retired member of the UMWA Kaiser Steel Local #9958 with 37 years of dedicated service. Member of the Slovenian Home in Spring Glen. Member Carbon Lodge #16 F&AM and the Eastern Utah Shrine.
Max was a great artist and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his wife Margaret Christman, Price; daughter, Sharon Christman, Orem; son, Gary (Judy) Christman, Wellington; four step-children, Ron Robertson, Moses Lake, Wash.; Karen (Dan) Seat, Salt Lake City; Jim (Starla) Robertson, Price; Robert Robertson, Wellington; brother, Milton Christman, Tacoma, Wash.; sister, Pat Diamond, Page, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, LaPreal Christman, Orangeville; Audrey Murphy, El Central, Calif.; Bessie Christman, Price; brother-in-law, Robert Cormani Jr., American Fork; three granchildren, 4 1/2 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Oct. 17 in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Shriners Hospital, Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84103.
