The new Castle Dale ALCO is officially open. |
The eagerly awaited ALCO store held its grand opening from April 15-25. On the morning of the 15th local dignitaries as well as ALCO corporate officials who made the trip from Abilene, Kan. were present for the Grand Opening. This is store number 185 for the company. Company officials said they were glad to be of service to Castle Dale and the surrounding area. Castle Dale Mayor Neal Peacock also spoke at the ribbon cutting. He said the grand opening was a great day for Castle Dale and he appreciated ALCO taking a chance on the community. Commissioner Gary Kofford also said the store would be an asset to the county and he wished the store much success.

The quality of the workforce in Emery County was mentioned and ALCO officials thanked the local Department of Workforce Services for their help with arranging the interviews with employees. Scott Wheeler is the store manager and he said that Emery County has the finest people you’ll find anywhere. He said they were excited to serve the community and for the shoppers to let them know what they can do better to serve them.
