Claude A. Wheeler
Claude A. Wheeler was born April 27, 1924 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. He came to Carbon County as a small child and has lived in Price since. He graduated from Carbon High in 1943. He served for two years in the Navy during World War II. He worked in various mines in Carbon and Emery Counties.
He married Phyllis Keele in 1948 and they had seven children: Claude, Jr., Debra, Linda, Scott, Mary, Lanett and Kevin (deceased).
He currently has 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He will celebrate with his family.
Dorothy H. Miller
Dorothy H. Miller is having her 90th birthday. She was born in Kentucky May 5, 1914. She was married to Marvin R. Miller for 55 years. Dorothy lives at the Turnquist Retreat in Elmo, where an open house will be held at 11 a.m. on May 1. Dorothy has lived in Castle Dale most of her life. Friends are welcome and refreshments will be served.
