Irene Norton Salzetti


SPRING GLEN-Ana Irene Worley Norton Salzetti, age 83, passed away April 23, 2004 in Provo, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 16, 1921 in Storrs, Utah to Collier and Maude Tidwell Worley. She married Glen L. Norton, June 1, 1940. After his death in 1974, she married Guido Salzetti, Jan. 7, 1982.
She enjoyed playing cards, travel (especially going on cruises with Guido and their friends), needlework, bowling and flower gardening. Her first love has always been her family.
Irene is survived by her husband, Guido of Spring Glen and children: Glen Ron and Judy Norton, Kent and Connie Norton, Claudia and Don Salzetti, Holli and Mike Cox, Gaylene and Geno Ori and Mary and Mike Porter; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Lee and Diane Worley, Mac Worley and sister Milly Harrison and many dear friends and family by whom she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by brother Fred and sister-in-law Enid Worley.
Funeral services will be held Tues., April 27 at 11 a.m. in the old Wellington LDS Chapel where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Wellington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the College of Eastern Utah Scholarship Fund, 451 East 400 North, Price, Utah 84501, Attn: Development Office.

Angelina Bonvicin


PRICE – Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Angelina Nick Bonvicin, age 93, passed away April 21, 2004 at home while surrounded by her family.
She was born July 11, 1910 in a tent in Mohrland, to John and Maria Teresa Cortese Nick and was the second of 10 children. On Oct. 12, 1932 she married David (Bull) Bonvicin Sr., at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Shortly after marriage they moved to Oakland, Calif. where they lived and raised their son David, and daughter, Gloria. On Jan. 3, 1975 Dave preceded her in death.
Angie grew up in Price and graduated from Carbon High School. She was a staunch member of the Catholic Church her entire life. Angie was a longtime resident of Oakland, Calif. prior to returning to Price. She was an accomplished gourmet cook and she enjoyed feeding everyone who came into her home. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her generosity and kindness to all.
Survived by son, David (Jeanne) Bonvicin, Rancho Mirage, Calif.; daughter Gloria Bonvicin, Hayward, Calif.; five grandchildren, David (Robyn), Danny, Jill, Dean and Lisa; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Kerry Fister, Paulmina New, Serfino (Delma) Nick, Louis (Elaine) Nick, all of Price; Martin (Charlotte) Nick, San Jose, Calif.; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husband; sisters, Mary Juliano, Josephine Copfer; and brothers, Frank and Elvin Nick.
The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice for their kind and loving care and all of the family and friends for their concern and thoughtfulness during her illness.
Funeral Mass was held Sat. April 24, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service was Friday evening. Committal service, Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Notre Dame Church or a charity of choice.

Chad Thomson


RIVERTON-Our loving husband, father, son, and brother, Chad Edward Thomson, 32, died April 18, 2004.
Born May 13, 1971 in Mt. Pleasant, to Garth Edward Thomson and Cheryl Kay Allred. Married Janell Jensen then later divorced. Married Amy Kenyon May 15, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Chad was a Staff Sergeant for the Utah National Guard for 15 years. He enjoyed racing, hunting and fishing but his greatest love was his family and he was always willing to help anyone.
Survived by wife; children Kayden, Andrew and Sadie Ann; father, Garth Ed (Jeanine) Thomson of Huntington; mother, Cheryl (Ronald) Brewer of Spring City; brother and sisters, Robert (Keri) Thomson of Ephriam; Denise (Mark) Gardner of Tucson, Ariz.; and Kaitlyn of Huntington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to the Chad Thomson Memorial Fund which has been established at any American First Credit Union.
Funeral services were held Fri. April 23 at the Riverton LDS Stake Center. Interment, Spring City Cemetery.

Louis Riche


KENILWORTH – Louis G. Riche, age 81, died April 23, 2004 at his home in Kenilworth while surrounded by his family.
Born July 3, 1922 in Sunnyside, to Loui Gregoria and Ethel Locke Riche. Married Nelsene Crandall on June 13, 1942 in Helper. She died May 20, 1980.
Lifelong resident of Carbon County where he worked in various coal mines, and later retired as a blacksmith from Kaiser Coal in Sunnyside. Retired member of UMWA Local 9958. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He will be dearly missed by family and many friends.
Survived by children, Louis N. (Sue) Riche, Kenilworth; Darlene Riche, Price; grandchildren, Louis G., Thomas N., Micalena, Becky, Kip, Tad, Chris; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Greg and Kami. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, LouSene; brothers, Joe and Morgan (Boofo) Riche; sisters, Jennie Robinson, Caroline Kay, Claranell Day and Ada Riche.
Funeral service Tues., April 27, 1 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.

Albert Blanc


PRICE – Albert Blanc, age 81, passed away peacefully April 21, 2004 at his home.
Born Oct. 1, 1922 in Price to Martin Pierre and Yvonne Samboug Blanc.
Member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church where he attended Mass every Sunday. Lifelong resident of Carbon County and owner of Albert Blanc Plumbing. Albert also worked at the Price City Filtration Plant and in 1991 he retired from Price City.
He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his bike and especially enjoying a cup of coffee with his buddies. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with the ones he loved.
Survived by sons, Jaime (Suzy) Blanc, Farmington; Larry (Meghan) Blanc, Price; Mike (Lisa) Blanc, West Jordan; sister, Anice (Robert) J. Robel, Manhatten, Kan.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Martin Jr., August and Marcel Blanc.
Memorial Mass Tues., April 27, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family will be at the church Tuesday one half hour prior to Mass. Committal service, Price City Cemetery.

Aleta White


CLEVELAND – Aleta Atwood White, age 54, passed away April 21, 2004 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 6, 1950 in Salt Lake City, to Melvin Edward Atwood and Vesta Nielsen. Married Clyde Delynn White Oct. 2, 1971 in Salt Lake City; he died April 23, 2003.
Aleta was very creative and she loved working with her hands. She loved camping, fishing and scrapbooking. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family.
Survived by children, Melinda Atwood, Dustin Redmond, Dayna Stoddard, Cameron Defa, Natasha White, Whitney White; brothers and sisters, LaNette Ularich, Daniel Atwood, Jean Knuckles, Melva Mayti, Nathan Atwood, Ross Atwood, Amber Osterloh; and 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Kevin Atwood.
Graveside service was Saturday, April 24, 2 p.m., Huntington City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
