Wm. Reed and Carma Fehlberg of Huntington, and Joseph and Maxine Nelson of Pleasant Grove announce the marriage of their son, Steven James Nelson to Michelle Gretchen Gonzalez, daughter of Pete and Haydee Melendez of Pharr, Texas and Cutberto Gonzalez Soto of Aguada, Puerto Rico.
Steven and Michelle were married in the Houston Texas LDS Temple on June 1.
Michelle graduated fromPSJA North High School of Pharr, Texas. She is attending the University of Texas Pan American majoring in political science, with a minor in economics. Steven is a graduate of Emery High, served a two year mission for the LDS Church in the Texas McAllen Mission, and is also attending the University of Texas Pan American majoring in computer science, with a minor in computer information systems. They have made their home in Edinburg, Texas where they are both working while attending college.
Grandparents are: James F. and Catherine Nelson of Castle Dale; Geneva Lake of Ferron and the late George Berdell Lake of Castle Dale; Ricardo Gonzalez of Aguada, Puerto Rico; and Margarita Soto of Aguada, Puerto Rice. Great-grandmother is Gladys Nelson of Elmo.

The couple have chosen July 2 to be married in the Manti LDS Temple.
