Temperatures have been cold but the inflatable polar bear had a big warm hug for Green River children. |
The Green River Lights on in the park was held in chilly temperatures on Wednesday. Green River citizens braved the cold to kickoff the Christmas season by turning on the lights in the park. The park decorating effort has been spearheaded by Amy Wilmarth and her family and friends.
Visitors enjoyed a walk around the park to view the lights and the inflatable Santa, polar bear and snowman were big hits with the young children as they all wanted a photo by the big decorations.
Hot chocolate and cookies were also served to help warm the hands of those present.
