Ralph Crapo O’Neil


PRICE-Ralph Crapo O’Neil, age 79, passed away Dec. 23, 2004 at his home in Price. He was born Sept. 1, 1925 in Roosevelt, to Vaun Alexander and Estella Crapo O’Neil. Ralph married Norma Jean McMullin Dec. 17, 1948 in Ballard, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, especially with his wife, children and grandchildren.
As an active member of the LDS Church he served in numerous callings and most especially enjoyed serving with his wife in the Manti Temple Baptistry. He served in the US Air Force in the South Pacific during WWII.
Ralph is survived by his wife Norma of Price and children: Greg and Cheryl O’Neil of Green River, Wyo., Laurie and Sheldon Taylor of Cleveland, Randy and Lori O’Neil of Ferron and Doug O’Neil of Ferron, 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Floyd and wife Shauna, and sisters Vera Bruno and Myra and husband Louis Ungerman and sister-in-law Thora O’Neil. Preceded in death by parents and one brother Richard.
Funeral services held Monday, Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Price North Stake Center. Burial in the Cliff View Cemetery.

Jon Christian Marrs


PRICE-Jon Christian Marrs passed unexpectedly on Dec. 19, 2004.
Jon is survived by his parents, Jim and Jeanne; by his brother Jeff, wife Daun, children Alexander and Briana Rose; by his brother Jerry, wife Teresa, son Scott; by his grandparents Norma C. Marrs and Woodrow and Erma Pilling, and aunts, uncles and a great many cousins; and by many dear friends, especially Tex and Diane Cuabo and their children Allison and Austin.
Jon graduated in Physiology from the University of California at Davis. He worked for Baxter Pharmaceutical in Oakland, Calif. He later moved to Minnesota where for the last six years he worked at ELA Medical, most recently as a Senior Clinical Evaluation Manager. His work ethics were deeply appreciated.
Jon was a deeply caring man who touched the lives of family, friends and coworkers. His many thoughtful gifts of kindness live on as tribute and reminder. He is greatly missed from our lives. We have been blessed by our time with him. We know that he is at peace and continue to love him dearly.
A service was held at Maple Grove Lutheran Church on Dec. 23, followed later that day by a Celebration of his Life in Rogers, Minn. A memorial will be held at Ascension St. Matthews Church, 522 North Homestead Blvd., in Price on Dec. 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a time of fellowship for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association in Jon’s memory.
