Utah Partners for Conservation and Development (UPCD), a group consisting of private landowners, interested parties, and state/federal agency people, welcome you to attend one of their workshops on March 2 or 3 in Green River, Monticello or Price. UPCD is a grassroots level group put together to coordinate and provide leadership for natural resource management in Carbon, Emery, Grand and San Juan counties.
Workshops are being hosted by the Utah Farm Bureau and will include representatives from state and federal land management agencies. Workshops provide the means for public and private input on land and water conservation issues. The UPCD hopes to broaden the scope, funding and overall effectiveness of conservation efforts undertaken by any of its partners.
The focus for the Green River meeting will be region-wide issues and priorities, while the workshops in Monticello and Price will target local problems.
