Louis Whimpey
One hundred twenty five family members gathered from Wyoming to St. George, and points in between, to celebrate the 80th birthday of their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Louis Whimpey.
Louis was born in Standardville on April 3, 1925. The family moved to Cleveland two years later, and Lou lived there until he entered the armed forces in WW II.
Lou is dad to 11 children, grandfather to 59, and great-grandfather to 73 special people, who honor and love him. They day was spent renewing family bonds, visiting, and recalling special memories. Families are the greatest.
