Huntington to celebrate Heritage Days July 2-4

Miss Heritage pageant on June 30 at 4p.m. and 6 p.m.
Tea party at 9:30 a.m. for contestants. ATV poker ride at 4 p.m. meet at High Velocity. Pet show at 6 p.m., MECCA bike ride at 6:30 p.m. Free Heritage Days dessert contest and ice cream social July 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Huntington City Park. Glee club at 8 p.m. Heritage idol at 7 p.m. Bring a dessert to share-prizes will be given.
Heritage Days Patriotic Fireside
Huntington Heritage Days patriotic fireside will be held July 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Huntington Stake Center. Speakers will be members of the Perry Wakefield family. Music will be provided by the Huntington Glee Club. Light refreshments will be served.
Huntington Heritage Days: Hooray for the Red, White, and Blue
Children’s parade, 9:30 a.m., parade and horse parade at 10 a.m., line-up at 9:30 a.m. Grand prize for the best Old Fashioned float made of chicken wire and napkins. For more information and to enter, call Tory at 687-9458 or Rose at 687-9060.
North Emery Reunion
The North Emery High Reunion will be held July 2 at Huntington Elementary School, 70 East 100 North. Registration and light refreshments will begin at 10 a.m. The monument dedication will be held at noon. Program at 3 p.m. followed by dinner.
