An open house was held on July 8 for the recently opened Farm Bureau Financial Services in Castle Dale. Tyler Jeffs, Castle Dale native has returned to the area to open a full service financial office. The Emery County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the new business and Jeffs hosted an open house with refreshments and drawings for prizes.
Jeffs said, “Farm Bureau is not just an insurance company. We offer financial planning for every aspect of a person’s life. We can help with 401 ks, retirement plans and we also offer all kinds of insurance including car, business, life, home etc. We can help with building a portfolio of stocks and bonds, Roth IRAs, annuities; the whole gamut of financial services.
“I want to be your financial consultant and invite everyone in for a free consultation. A lot of people don’t know what they need for retirement. We help you assess what you have and what your financial needs will be at retirement. We can help you place your funds in the best place for your individual situation. We help determine if you need an aggressive or a conservative approach to financial planning. Most people don’t plan ahead for their retirement and it presents some difficult times, but with the proper preparation and planning the transition to retirement and a fixed income can be a lot easier.
“Most people have questions about getting started and that’s what we’re here for to help you get started. I majored in agriculture business and business and attended Utah State University. I had an office in Price and Provo, but I wanted to come home to Emery County. This is where I want to live. Our new business is located at 70 East Main in Castle Dale. We have remodeled the building and we’re serious about doing business here,” said Jeffs.
Jeffs and his wife Tiffany were married in 2003 in the Nauvoo Temple. Tiffany is a registered nurse at Castle View Hospital in Price. Jeffs chose to work for Farm Bureau because Farm Bureau has a good reputation with quality products.
Mike Youso, district sales manager for Farm Bureau Financial Services is impressed with Tyler. “Having grown up in rural Utah, Tyler has a lot of the rural values that Farm Bureau members find so important,” said Youso. “He is bright, articulate and cares about people, all qualities of a top agent.”
Nicole Bennett is Jeffs assistant in the Castle Dale office. She is married to Brett Bennett. Jeffs said, “Nicole is a great asset to the business and a good team player.”
Jeffs is happy to be back in town and ready to serve the public of Emery County.
