Bart Cox, Orangeville Mayor candidate
My name is Bart Cox. I’m asking for you to vote for me to be the mayor of Orangeville City. Orangeville is a great place to live and raise a family.
I’ve had experience in city government that I feel qualifies me for this job. I am willing to serve. I served as a city councilman for 16 years. I also served as zoning administrator for four years. I already have a working knowledge of city government and am ready to do my part to continue the great traditions we have.
My goal is to continue the many good things that are already happening in Orangeville City and be willing to improve if there is any of that to be done.
Orangeville has been my home for the past 29 years. My wife, Marilee, and I moved here in 1976 with our oldest daughter. Our other three children were born here and this has been a great place to raise them.
I taught junior high at Canyon View for two years and have been with Emery Telcom for 27 1/2 years.
Please vote on Nov. 8 and consider me for mayor of Orangeville City.
