The Emery County New Year’s baby for 2006 made her arrival on Jan. 3 at 9:10 a.m. at the Castleview Hospital in Price.
Libby Talia Faimalo was born to Jon and Lacey Faimalo of Huntington. She weighed 7 pounds and 5.5 ounces. Libby was 20.25 inches long.
She was welcomed home by brothers,Kobe, Mason and Bailey and one sister, Kelcy.
Lacey said, “Libby was a few days early. She was due on Jan. 12. She’s been a really good baby, she just sleeps a lot. She’s been eating good and she’s well loved. Everyone wants to hold her all the time.”
The Faimalo family didn’t expect Libby would be the New Year’s baby for the county being born on Jan. 3, but she has the honor of being the first Emery County baby of 2006. The family will be the recipient of many prizes donated by local businesses to welcome the new baby.
