Wanda Summers Larsen
The family of Wanda Summers Larsen announces a birthday celebration on March 4 at the Castle Dale Senior Center from 2-4 p.m. All friends are welcome to join us to honor this very special woman with an open house where light refreshments will be served. The only gift desired is the warmth of your friendship.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1921 in Star Valley, Wyo. She was raised there until her marriage in 1940 to Allen Summers and their life took them to San Francisco, Calif. and other points in between. They returned to Star Valley in 1954 and stayed there until moving to Castle Dale in 1976. After Al’s death in 1981, she served a mission in Florida. In 1983, she married Carlos Larsen,
Her children are Richard (Jeannette) and David (Jacqueline) Summers of Las Vegas, Nev., Art (Luella) Summers of Nephi, Charles Summers and Terry Lyn (Mark H) Williams of Castle Dale, and special nephew Keith (Donna) Thornton of Las Vegas, Nev. Her step-children are Franz (Patty), Kimble (Ann), Russel (Kathy) Larsen, children of the late Carlos Larsen.
