The third annual Canyon River Runners art show is slated to run from June 1-30 at the John Wesley Powell River History museum in Green River.
Entries in original paintings, all media and sculptures of river runners, landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor activities related to canyon areas, historical and present time are needed. No photographic entries.
The art will be on display and there will also be articles of art that can be purchased.
Categories will include professional, amateur, young amateur and junior amateur.
Each artist may submit two entries.
The art show has grown each year due to the work of those involved in promoting the show and encouraging entries from local artists and school children.
