In reference to the Owen Price tribute that was published in the Emery County Progress on May 16, and written by his sister, Dora, we as the John and Connie Wickman family would like to clarify some of the comments that were made in regards to our family.
We took it very personal that it was insinuated that Owen generously provided us with our home, our business and whatever we need. Through many years of hard and honest diligent work we have acquired these things for ourselves. In addition, our children have worked very hard and have earned their own way with absolutely no help from anyone.
Whatever we have accomplished, we have done it all on our own.
