After 28 years running the Joe’s Valley Marina, Sharpe and Seretia Snow have decided to retire. During the past few years, health reasons have limited the marina hours to weekends only. Now, they have sold the marina and will retire to better things.
The Snow family is planning a retirement party on Sept. 2 at the marina. There will be refreshments and entertainment. Country Rose and other local entertainment will perform from 2-4 p.m. The family welcomes everyone to bring a lawn chair and come and visit and bid them farewell.
“Everyone who comes can also meet the new owner,” said Seretia.
