A 65 year old man from Golden, Colo. was in the county participating in the Arapeen ATV Jamboree.
He was involved in the Singleton Flat ride up Ferron Canyon. He was operating his ATV when he ran off the side of an embankment. He died at the scene. The Sanpete Search and Rescue came to the scene and assisted with the deceased man.
The Sanpete Sheriff identified the man as Ken Delmain. His body was sent to the medical examiners office to determine the exact cause of death. Autopsy results concluded death resulted from massive chest injuries.
