Fall Festival Bike the Swell will be held on Sept. 22-24 . The $45 fee includes Friday night spaghetti dinner; Saturday morning continental breakfast; Saturday night Dutch oven dinner; and a prize drawing (must be present to win). Everyone will receive a prize and one participant will win a new bike.
The itinerary will be, Sept. 22- Check-in at the Wedge Overlook, beginning at 1 p.m. There will be a ride that afternoon at 3 p.m. After the ride enjoy dinner at the Wedge camping area. Plan to stay at a motel or bed and breakfast in Emery County (Huntington, Castle Dale or Ferron) or camp at the Wedge. The prize drawing will be at 6 p.m. If you don’t make it on Friday, we’ll check you in Saturday morning.
Sept. 23- Join us for breakfast at the Wedge; then choose a ride that suits your biking ability from beginner to advanced (you’ll need to bring a lunch and snacks for the ride) – there will be no shortage of views as you ride this part of the San Rafael and Utah’s “Little Grand Canyon.” That evening, enjoy a Dutch oven dinner and campfire stories beginning at 5 p.m. – maybe even a ride by moonlight (if there’s interest and the moon cooperates).
