Jamboree riders travel through Ferron Canyon on one of the scenic rides.

The SouthEastern Utah Off Highway Vehicle Club hosted the Arapeen ATV Jamboree for the fourth year. Ferron was the home base for the rides held each day with the riders and guides meeting at the fairgrounds multi-purpose building.

In the vest, trail guide Paul Conover gives instructions and a short history of the Ferron Canyon area.

Thirteen states were represented at the Jamboree with riders from Texas, Delaware, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Wyoming, Mississippi, California, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, Nebraska and Utah. More than 30 riders attended this year’s Jamboree and all seemed to have only good to say about Utah, Emery County and the Arapeen Jamboree.
The Jamboree was held Monday-Friday with rides each day which showcase the Arapeen Trail and the diverse landscape of Emery County.
