On Nov. 21, Jeff Clement, Ray Trujillo and Christy Weston met with local fire chiefs and hazmat personnel to donate to the cause. Clement, who is the XTO environmental, health and safety manager from Farmington, N.M., told the fire departments that this money is to help them with anything they need. He told the departments thanks for all the help they have given and he appreciates everything they have done. “We want to have a good relationship with you. We have a big operation here and need you guys involved. We appreciate each and everyone of you,” said Clement.
The checks, one for $650 for the fire departments, and one for $650 to go to the hazmat department, were presented by Trujillo who is the local foreman. On hand to accept the gifts were Garth Childs, Randy Nielson, Clark Atwood and Richard Herring. Representing the hazmat department were Sgt. Martin Wilson and Deputy Shaun Bell.
