Seven Eagle awards in one night

It must have set some kind of record for seven Green River boys to receive their eagle scout awards in one night. But, it was history in the making as these Eagle Scouts did just that receiving their award at a Court of Honor on Wed., Dec. 27, 2006.
The scouts and their Eagle projects are as follows:
Kaleb Fail son of Brad and Kalynn Fail – Kaleb’s project will benefit anyone using the baseball complex. He poured four pads of concrete, assembled six picnic tables and two park benches. The tables and benches were placed on the concrete pads.
Parker Hatt son of Royd and Toni Hatt – Parker’s project will benefit those that like to play basketball at the city park. He applied a non-slip surface and painted the lines on the basketball court there.
Brent Johnson son of Nolan and Sharon Johnson – Brent’s project will benefit those who park at the schools in Green River. He lined the parking lots at both the elementary and high school.
Tanner McFarlane son of Kim and Cindy McFarlane – Tanner’s project will benefit those that use the shooting park in Green River. He constructed and erected signs and markers at the shooting park.
Kaden Robertson son of Scott and Kristin Robertson – Kaden’s project will benefit the baseball players in Green River. He constructed a building to house the pitching machine for the batting tunnel at the ball complex.
Jace Vetere son of Tim and LuRey Vetere – Jace’s project will benefit those visiting and living in Green River. He constructed and placed benches around the business district in Green River.
Weston Vetere son of Tim and LuRey Vetere – Weston’s project will benefit those visiting and living in Green River. He constructed and placed planter boxes around the business district in Green River.
