Bible Experience
The Liberty Faith Fellowship, 1630 North 1500 West in Carbonville welcomes everyone to join the Bible Experience beginning Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m. and sunday evening at 6 p.m. This is the dramatized Bible on CD.
Swell Cure for Cabin Fever Poker Ride

Second Annual Family Night

Klondike Derby

Civil Air Patrol
The Castle Valley Composite Squadron volunteer organization with co-ed program is being offered for 11-18 year olds. Senior participation program is available also. CAP units provide emergency services including air and ground search and rescue. Seniors and cadets participate in flying activities. For information call 637-6303.
Vendors Wanted
The Emery County Fair is now accepting applications for food and general vendors for the Emery County Fair which will be held Aug. 2, 3, and 4. To be an exclusive food vendor, you must have your application into the Emery County Recreation office by March 23. You may pick up an application at the Emery County Recreation office located at 75 South 400 East, Castle Dale, or go to the website at www.emerycounty.com/fair/vendor. Ferron Fire Department Dinner
Come and enjoy a meal with us at the First Annual Ferron Fireman’s Winter Dinner social on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Ferron firestation. Chili and cornbread will be served, $5 per person. Come and support the fire department. This is a fundraiser for a combustible gas detector.
Emery County Community Theater
The Emery County Community Theater will present Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the Emery High Auditorium on Feb. 8,9, 10 and 12 at 7 p.m. There will be a Saturday matinee on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.
Ben Grimes Exhibit
Ben Grimes is having a one-man photography show at the College of Eastern Utah. It will run until March 31 on the second floor. The museum is open Monday thru Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Sister Study

Scout Fireside
Scout Sunday Fireside will be held Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Huntington Stake Center. Elder Jay Sitterud will be the guest speaker. All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity and Venturing Scouts, Scout Leaders, Youth Leaders, parents and the public are welcome. It will be a combined fireside with Buckhorn and Carbon Districts.
Caleb Sitterud
Caleb Sitterud the son of Randy Sitterud, has sustained multiple head injuries as a result of a serious car accident. He is in ICU in very serious condition. Donations to help with medical expenses can be made at Wells Fargo.
Historical Society
The Emery County Historical Society will present speaker, author, historian, Dr. Edward A. Geary on Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum of the San Rafael. Refreshments will be served; everyone welcome. Yearly membership dues are due. Huntington Dog Licenses
The Huntington City 2007 dog licenses are now due. Proof of current rabies vaccination must be presented before license can be issued. Deadline for dog licenses is March 1. Dog licenses may be purchased at the Huntington City Hall or at the rabies clinic which will be held at the Huntington City Fire Station on Feb. 24 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Emergency Kits
Huntington Elementary is putting together emergency kits for each classroom and are in need of many items. In the event of an emergency theses items could be essential for saving the lives of your children. Please contact Huntington Elementary at 687-9954 for a list of needed items.
Food Handler’s Class
Food handler’s classes will be held in Price on Jan. 24 and Feb. 27, and March 27, 2007 at 4 and 7 p.m. at the Health Department office at 28 South 100 East, Price. Valentine Carnival
Huntington Elementary is holding its 11th annual Valentine Carnival on Feb. 9 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Huntington Elem. Gym. There will be games, food and fun. Cake walk, fortune teller, football toss, golf game bowling game, crafts, bake sale and much more.
PTA Reflections program
The Region 12 PTA Reflections Awards program will be held on Jan. 27 at the Museum of the San Rafael in Castle Dale at 5 p.m. This program will honor winners from Carbon and Emery counties.
