On Feb. 6 Emery FFA Chapter competed in Area Contest held at Snow College. In Creed Speaking Britni Maxfield and Jefferson Manning represented the chapter. Speaking in Extemporaneous was Tawny Conder; she placed second. Also Jacie Fasselin took first in Prepared Public Speaking. Keven Jensen was the winner of the Diverse Livestock Production Proficiency. Kaitlin Reaves and Kyla Staley both had state qualifying record books. These competitors qualified for Area at the Chapter contest held on Jan. 10. This is the fifth consecutive year they have taken first in the prepared public speaking category.
