Tawny Conder to perform with country legends
Emery High senior and Miss Emery first attendant, Tawny Conder has auditioned her way to a spot on the Country Legends show on May 19 at the Price Civic Auditorium at 7 p.m. The country legends will perform for half of the show and then the high school performers. The winner at this level will attend the talent show in Park City and that winner will go onto Nashville. Tickets are $20 each and the concert is being used as a fund raiser for the local student who is raising funds to attend the national FFA convention in October. Contact Tawny at 749-2661 for tickets.
Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife Banquet
The Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife will host their annual fundraising banquet at the BDAC on May 19. The social hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The dinner will be chicken cordon bleu and filet mignon. Also at 4:30 p.m. begins the auction items inspection.
There are numerous auction items and several high end prizes for the drawings.
Drawing items include: a guided Wyoming antelope hunt giveaway; a Wyoming white tail deer guided hunt; gun safes; more than 40 rifles of various kinds, types and caliber.
